On Sunday, 14 July 2024, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Alytaus district municipality, Ąžuolinių village, on Zailių street, at the junction with Malūno street, an Audi A4 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.67‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
