On Wednesday, 17 July 2024, in the evening at around 21:00, in Alytaus district municipality, Kumečių village, on the Peršėkininkai–Buckūnai regional road (kilometre 4), a Suzuki GSF 600 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Suzuki (2 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
