On Sunday, 1 September 2024, in the evening at 20:19, in Kaunas, on Partizanų street near No. 27A, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 3ER Reihe and a car. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (3.24‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
