On Wednesday, 30 October 2024, in the morning at 7:35, in Jonavos district municipality, on Chemikų street near No. 122, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 and a Toyota Avensis. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.45‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
