On Tuesday, 15 October 2024, in the evening at around 19:00, in Vilnius, on Savanorių pr. near No. 7, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and a Citroen C3. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the driver of a vehicle (11 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
