On Thursday, 5 December 2024, in the afternoon at 12:06, in Kaunas, on Taikos pr., at the junction with Savanorių pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo XC60 and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the Volvo (30 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
