On Friday, 4 January 2013, in the evening at 19:10, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 275.30), a BMW 320 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the BMW (9 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
