On Friday, 11 January 2013, at night at 0:46, in Prienų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Prienai–Marijampolė main road (kilometre 78.10), a VWL registered in Sweden hit an animal. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the VWL (5 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
