On Sunday, 13 January 2013, in the afternoon at 14:45, in Klaipėda, on H. Manto street near No. 7, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Volvo V70. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
