Peugeot hits pedestrians on the Vilijampolė–Žeimiai–Šėta road
On Monday, 14 January 2013, in the morning at 8:53, in Jonavos district municipality, on the Vilijampolė–Žeimiai–Šėta national road (kilometre 43.92), a Peugeot 607 hit two pedestrians away from any crossing. Two people were injured — a 65-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient) and a 63-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Peugeot (17 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
