On Tuesday, 15 January 2013, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Kaunas, on Tvirtovės al. near No. 37, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4, a Volkswagen Golf, a Renault Megane, an Opel Movano, a BMW 320D and a Boro BR1 registered in Poland. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Audi (4 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
