On Friday, 18 January 2013, in the afternoon at 12:27, in Vilnius, on Dariaus ir Girėno street, at the junction with Šaltkalvių street, a Volkswagen Crafter hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 59-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (15 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
