On Friday, 18 January 2013, in the evening at 22:30, in Kaunas, on M. K. Čiurlionio street, at the junction with Vytauto pr., a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Solaris Urbino 12. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (2 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
