On Thursday, 31 January 2013, in the afternoon at 15:55, in Klaipėda, on Taikos pr., at the junction with Naikupės street, a Ford Mondeo hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 14-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Ford (17 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
