On Tuesday, 5 February 2013, in the evening at 22:40, in Kretingos district municipality, on Žemaičių street near No. 12, a Volkswagen Passat hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
