On Friday, 8 February 2013, in the morning at around 10:00, in Kaunas, on Islandijos pl. near No. 32, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a BMW 530 D, a Volkswagen Crafter and a Mercedes-Benz ML420 CDI 4 Matic. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. All drivers were sober.
