On Sunday, 10 February 2013, in the evening at around 22:00, in Klaipėda, on Mokyklos street near No. 19, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Citroen Xantia and a Toyota Corolla Verso. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Citroen, who failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk (1.80‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
