On Saturday, 9 February 2013, in the evening at 17:20, in Radviliškio district municipality, on the Kiti keliai local road (kilometre 630), a BMW 316 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
