On Sunday, 10 February 2013, in the evening at 19:30, in Kaunas, on V. Krėvės pr. near No. 14B, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Safrane, a Volvo V40, an Audi 80 Avant and an Opel Astra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.25‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
