On Saturday, 9 February 2013, in the morning at 8:20, in Šilutės district municipality, on Laisvės al. near No. 8, a Mitsubishi Colt hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (2 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.93‰ blood alcohol).
