On Tuesday, 12 February 2013, at night at 2:20, in Klaipėda, on Taikos pr. near No. 49, an Audi A6 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Audi (15 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.42‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
