On Sunday, 17 February 2013, in the evening at 22:55, in Zarasų district municipality, on Vytauto street, a BMW 318TI hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
