On Saturday, 2 March 2013, in the morning at around 8:00, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 282.80), a BMW 530 XI hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
