DAF FT truck and car crash on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda road
On Sunday, 10 March 2013, in the morning at around 10:00, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 83), a DAF FT XF105.460 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the DAF (24 years of driving experience). The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
