On Wednesday, 20 March 2013, in the afternoon at 13:20, in Šalčininkų district municipality, Tartoko village, on the Šalčininkai–Butrimonys–Eišiškės national road (kilometre 1.38), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Sintra and a Volkswagen Caddy. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 63-year-old driver of the Opel (9 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk and fled the scene.
