On Sunday, 14 April 2013, in the morning at 7:40, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 60), a DAF FAR XF105.410 registered in Russia ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the DAF (a citizen of Russia) (9 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
