On Monday, 22 April 2013, in the evening at 18:40, in Klaipėda, on Sportininkų street, at the junction with Malūnininkų street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
