On Tuesday, 23 April 2013, in the afternoon at 14:40, in Trakų district municipality, on the Kiti keliai local road (kilometre 1), a BMW 524 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the BMW (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.16‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
