On Thursday, 25 April 2013, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Kaunas, on Šv. Gertrūdos street near No. 22, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Subaru Forester and an Audi 100. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 75-year-old driver of the Subaru (33 years of driving experience), who failed to comply with road signs or markings, committed other traffic rule violations, failed to choose a safe speed and entered the oncoming traffic lane. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
