On Monday, 22 April 2013, in the afternoon at 15:30, in Vilkaviškio district municipality, on S. Nėries street, at the junction with Statybininkų street, an Audi A4 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Audi (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
