On Monday, 29 April 2013, at night at around 2:00, in Kaunas, on Neries krantinė street near No. 16B, an Audi 80 hit an obstacle. One person was injured — a 17-year-old passenger of the Audi (severely injured, hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 75-year-old driver of the Audi (30 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
