On Sunday, 5 May 2013, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kaunas, on S. Žukausko street near No. 15, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Tigra, an Audi 80, a Peugeot 307, a Volkswagen Passat and a Honda FR-V. Three people were injured — the 48-year-old driver of the Peugeot (treated as an outpatient), a 36-year-old passenger of the Opel (treated as an outpatient) and a 51-year-old passenger of the Peugeot (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by a 21-year-old passenger of the Opel, who committed traffic rule violations that contributed to the accident. All drivers were sober. The 30-year-old driver of the Opel had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
