On Saturday, 4 May 2013, in the afternoon at 16:10, in Kaunas, on K. Baršausko street near No. 65, a collision with a motorcycle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 and a Triumph Sprint RS. One person died — the 41-year-old driver of the Triumph. Three people were injured — the 29-year-old driver of the Audi (treated as an outpatient), a 25-year-old passenger of the Audi (treated as an outpatient) and a 38-year-old passenger of the Triumph (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Audi (8 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
