On Wednesday, 8 May 2013, in the evening at 19:12, in Vilnius, on Minties street near No. 17, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 728 and a Peugeot 206. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
