On Thursday, 9 May 2013, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr., at the junction with J. Basanavičiaus al., a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a BMW 525, a Mercedes-Benz 190 and a Lexus GS 350. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the BMW (2 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. All drivers were sober.
