On Monday, 13 May 2013, in the evening at around 20:00, in Joniškio district municipality, Spirakių village, on the Stungiai–Bandoriai–Daunoriškė regional road (kilometre 14.55), an Audi 80 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.86‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
