On Tuesday, 14 May 2013, in the evening at 20:35, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road, at a gas station, an Audi A6 Avant hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Audi (23 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
