On Thursday, 16 May 2013, in the afternoon at 14:20, in Kaunas, on Kovo 11-osios street near No. 102, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a bicycle occurred. The collision involved a Nissan Almera and a bicycle. One person was injured — a 15-year-old cyclist (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 83-year-old driver of the Nissan (22 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
