Unlicensed motorcyclist and two other cars crash in Panevėžio city
On Saturday, 18 May 2013, in the afternoon at 14:25, in Panevėžio city municipality, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a KTM 640 Adventure, an Opel Astra and a Land Rover Range Rover. One person was injured — the 14-year-old driver of the KTM (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 14-year-old driver of the KTM, who failed to comply with road signs or markings. He had no driving licence. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
