On Wednesday, 22 May 2013, in the evening at 22:20, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Klaipėda–Liepoja (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 11), a Honda Civic ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Honda (6 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
