On Saturday, 25 May 2013, in the evening at around 17:00, in Panevėžio district municipality, on Parko street, at the junction with Panevezio nereguliuojama gatviu sankryza street, an Opel Vectra ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet.
