On Tuesday, 25 June 2013, at night at around 2:00, in Panevėžio district municipality, Linkaučių village, on the local road, a BMW 523 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.13‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
