On Wednesday, 26 June 2013, in the evening at 17:15, in Alytaus district municipality, Davainiškių village, on the Daugai–Meškučiai–Meškasalis regional road (kilometre 18.99), a Mazda 323 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of an Iveco 35C14 (2 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He fled the scene.
