On Monday, 8 July 2013, at night at around 4:00, in Klaipėda, on Šilutės pl. near No. 36, in a yard, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Saab 9-3 and a Citroen C2. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Saab (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She was drunk (3.01‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
