On Thursday, 4 July 2013, in the afternoon at 13:39, in Šalčininkų district municipality, Gėlūnų village, on the Pirčiupiai–Eišiškės national road (kilometre 8.73), a bicycle rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 11-year-old cyclist, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
