On Wednesday, 10 July 2013, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on Panerių street, at the junction with Demokratų street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Golf (6 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. Both drivers were sober.
