On Thursday, 11 July 2013, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 346, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a Volkswagen Jetta hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 2-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by a 2-year-old pedestrian, who committed sudden emergence from behind a vehicle, tree, etc..
