On Friday, 12 July 2013, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Ignalinos district municipality, on the Vilnius-Švenčionys-Zarasai national road (kilometre 113.70), a falling cargo occurred. The accident involved a DAF FT XF105 and a MAN 26.322. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the MAN (29 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
