On Friday, 12 July 2013, in the afternoon at 13:20, in Kaunas, on Pramonės pr., at the junction with Taikos pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Nissan Primera and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Nissan (32 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet.
