On Friday, 12 July 2013, in the evening at around 19:00, in Šiaulių district municipality, Gervėnų village, a Mitsubishi Galant ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (13 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She fled the scene. The driver was sober.
